Steve Holt

Steve is the owner of Steve’s Sugar Shack. Steve began making maple syrup at the age of 12, and expanded his maple operation to include a restaurant, fulfilling a life-long dream. Sugar season is one of Steve’s favorite times. He begins months before the doors open to set up pipeline and prepare, then spends many hours boiling and producing maple syrup. On the weekends he enjoys talking to the many guests who come to Steve’s Sugar Shack to enjoy breakfast and explaining how maple syrup is made and sharing his passion. Everyone who walks through the door becomes part of his dream. Welcome to the Steve’s Sugar Shack family!

Julie Holt

Julie Holt is proud to share in Steve’s dream. Julie handles the business side of Steve’s Sugar Shack, managing the bookkeeping, marketing, and syrup sales during sugar season and all year long. Sugar season is Julie’s favorite time of year because Steve’s Sugar Shack is truly a warm and loving community. We are only open a short time - 7 or 8 weekends out of the whole year from the end of February thru the middle of April, but we pack a lot of joy into those few days! Join us…. you’ll feel that sense of community even on your first visit!
